Dr. Magdy Ashour

Dr. Magdy Ashour is the former academic advisor to the Grand Mufti of Egypt, former head of the Fatwa Secretariat Committee at Dar al-Ifta al-Misriyya (Egyptian Fatwa Authority), and former director of Al-Nas Religious Satellite Channel.

Published by Dar al-Ifta al-Misriyya, with another edition published by Dar al-Salam Library in Cairo.
  • The Constant and the Variable in the Thought of Imam Abu Ishaq al-Shatibi (A Fundamentalist Study of Objectives), Master’s thesis, published by Dar al-Bahuth for Islamic Studies and Heritage Revival, Dubai (2002). An expanded and revised edition is available from Dar al-Salam Library in Cairo.
